Why I built this

Most fashion jewellery does one of two things. It looks good in the packet and dulls within a month. Or it costs so much you save it for occasions and never actually wear it.

I wanted the middle — pieces that survive Indian weather, a full workday, and still look like the pair in the photo six months later. I could not find them at a price that made sense, so I built Petals & Ore.

What we actually do differently

Every piece carries an anti-tarnish coating applied during manufacturing. Not a claim — a step in the production process that slows the reaction between the metal and air, moisture, and skin. It is the reason our earrings hold their finish far longer than most fashion jewellery at this price point.

I test every piece myself before it ships. If something dulls early, breaks at the catch, or irritates skin — it does not go into an order. That is not a policy. It is just how the brand runs.
